Name: Jenna Country: United States State: Texas Metro: Gladewater Birthday: 9/4/1985 Gender: Female
Interests: My interests are singing in the church choir, knitting, serving in God's church (altar guild, lay reading, chalice bearing), reading for enjoyment (when I have time). I also have a passion for liturgy (the words to draw us close to God) and learning and experiencing new things. I love college (and school in general), but have realized that the important things in life are God, love, and relationships and those are the things that really matter. I also enjoy reading the comics, throwing get togethers that won't fit in the living room, and being creative and random. I am also a girl in love. Expertise: As I learned from my developmental psychology class, expertise develops after years and hours of work (and usually occurs during middle adulthood), so I don't think I have any specific expertise now, but one day I hope to have expertise in pastoral care and teaching. Actually, I do have expertise in one area: knitting and walking! Occupation: Student Industry: Education & Ministry

| Everything that's worthwhile in life is scary. Choosing a school, choosing a career, getting married, having kids-all those things are scary. If it is not fearful, it is not worthwhile. -Paul Tournier, Swiss physician & author
I'm meeting my boyfriend's parents tomorrow!
| ....I was confirmed in the Episcopal Church! | | |
| This week it has been my first time to....
...intentionally skip class (hey I haven't before and I was really stressed out; it was 2 classes actually)
...be in the library after it has closed (W-Club officers' meeting)
...go to a guys' dorm room in Edwards (it's my boyfriend's room and it's visitation night)
...be approved by my vestry at Trinity to move on to the diocesan process (I hope this is one time thing)
...sent in my application packet for the priesthood in the Diocese of Texas (ditto with the previous statement)

| Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will stay awake just to watch you sleep.
Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends
Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."
